Norrath Route Atlas

Site policy

Privacy

Norrath Route Atlas uses a small, first-party, cookieless counter to understand which atlas sections are useful. It does not create visitor profiles.

What the atlas records

The counter records only a normalized page name and increments an aggregate count for the current UTC day. It does not intentionally store IP addresses, user-agent strings, referrer URLs, advertising identifiers, account details, or map searches.

The atlas does not set analytics cookies or use browser storage for analytics. Global Privacy Control and the browser’s Do Not Track setting disable the counter.

Storage and use

Aggregate counts are stored in a private SQLite database on the site’s hosting account and normally retained for about 400 days; expired rows are removed when the counter next runs. The counts are used only to improve navigation, performance, and reference coverage. Norrath Route Atlas does not sell this information.

Like nearly all web hosts, GoDaddy may maintain standard server and security logs independently of this atlas counter. Those hosting logs are controlled by the hosting provider and may include network information needed to operate and protect the service.

External links

The atlas links to community and official sources. Following an external link takes you to that provider’s site and privacy practices.
